Original Toy Storage Clutter

Toy Storage Gallery 1

FACT: Toy boxes, storage bins, fixed shelving, etc. lead to clutter. If toys do not have a SPECIAL location, it will always lead to CLUTTER. Notice the pink Post-It pads on the wall, these are 2×4 (stud) locations for future EZStudRacks.

Organized Toys using EZStudRack System

Toy Storage Gallery 1

INFO: 98 EZStudRacks (12 1/4 packages) were used for this location.

TIP #1: Youngest child’s toys are stored on the lower shelves. Middle child’s toys are stored on the middle shelves. Older child’s toys are stored on higher shelves. Every toy has a specific location. Kid’s AUTOMATICALLY put toys back in the same location. MOST OF THE TIME WITHOUT BEING TOLD!

TIP #2: use the highest shelves for items that kids play with for hours or are rarely used. A step ladder is used to get the toys on the highest shelves.

Another Cluttered Storage Rack!

Storage racks like these are not cheap. Since the shelves are wide and deep, they ALWAYS lead to CLUTTER and waste a lot of space.

INFO: 42 EZStudRacks (5-1/4 packages) used for this location.

TIP #1: KEEP ALL TOYS (except for large ones) OFF THE FLOOR. When it comes to “clean-up” time, if any toy is left on the floor then the toy room is not clean yet.

TIP #2: Leave enough room so your vacuum or broom can clean floor under the shelves.

Store similar items in storage bins. Clear storage bins should be used rather than solid color. Clear bins allow you to easily determine what’s inside.

Room to sweep or Vacuum

Tip: Keep the lowest shelf off the ground. Use your vacuum or broom to determine where to place that bottom shelf. That way you can easily sweep or vacuum.

Store Younger Kids Toys Low

Don’t forget, try to store toys within reach of child’s height. Toy’s that are not used frequently can be stored higher.
